ABOUT

My name is Taryn, and I have proudly dedicated over 21 years to the craft of tattooing. My journey began at a long-standing traditional walk-in shop in Phoenix, where I honed my skills and deepened my passion for the arts. Over the years, I have had the privilege of tattooing in various places across Arizona and northern California, gaining valuable knowledge in dynamic environments, alongside several talented artists. After eight years with my friends at Lady Luck in Phoenix, I decided it was time to open my own sacred space, Zona Art/Emanate Tattoo; a cozy, beautiful private studio in the Grand Avenue Arts District. This move allowed me to closely hone in on my craft and focus on each client more attentively. This was a life changing, amazing experience and am so grateful for that experience. As of June 2025, we decided to try something new and move north, where I have happily begun a new journey with Beloved Studios in Roseville, MN. I am elated for this new chapter and can’t wait to make awesome art with fantastic new folks!

In addition to tattooing, I also love to create through painting, design, music and welding/metal fabrication. I am always fueled by an immense love for the arts, exploration, the natural world and the absurd. My creative style draws from botanical art, illustration, traditional tattooing, pattern work/ornamental, fantasy/sci-fi and art nouveau, with early influences rooted in surrealism, psychedelia, mysticism, lowbrow, street art, and punk/rock record and poster art. This eclectic mix inspires my artistry, resulting in unique and custom pieces!

When I am not tattooing, I am usually creating art, enjoying the outdoors, exploring, traveling and always learning.
